Very nice, Glen! I was a little shocked by the blank, phosphorous chartreuse screen!! YIKES! But, that man has some great licks, and that guitar sounds super. Looks real purdy too!

Thanks Norm! ;D That's our friend Dave. We like Dave. As time permits, we will post a couple of more videos. Taking the videos is the easy part. The editing, loading, and posting takes a little bit of time. ;D Click on the green screen? Glen

Some fine Delta-Blues Bottleneckin' there fellas! (Glen-bring these dudes along if you come to Mayville this year--we can sit out on our deck, watch the deer, down some cold ones, and I'll even drag out the Deering 5-string! )

Once again Glen, sounds like you have a nice guitar there, with her own "voice." Well balanced, kinda "dry" and "woody"--wouldn't ya say? I like yer friend Rick's vocal timbre: easy-going, clean and clear. Good singer! (now THAT'S something I DO know about ). Have you firmed up any plans for those guitars yet?

Thanks Norm, The N&I Gold Thread does have it's own voice. We are still planning on putting one on e-bay. Just as soon as I finish this other project that I am working on. Which will be done soon. Matter of days. Here is a taste test video between the slope shoulder and the Gold Thread. ;D It's a long one. Glen

Nice, Glen! I love that fella's blues licks. The "Gold" sounds a bit more robust to me--a bit more lower end, but not boomy. Nice mids and highs; the slope and Gold seem to share a lot of tonal properties, and it's tough for me to distinguish which is which at times. At first, I thought the slope had a bit more "overtones" or sustain-then I move the little "dot" back, and think--"nope...not really." Given the interior size of the Gold's "box," I'd expect a bit more projection up front, and it *seems* that's going on. The slope is a really sweet guitar too! I really can't tell that much from recordings, because no matter how good your headphones or speakers are, there is ALWAYS compression and digitizing. I think I'd have to sit with both and play them for awhile. I'd take either one in a heartbeat though. I know you have a certain tonal pallette you go for...what's YOUR "take" on your creations? Am I even close, or does it sound like I'm playing "plug in your favorite luthier terms" ??

Here is one of Tom Williams playing the New and Improved Gold Thread and the original Gold Thread. They are both spruce over walnut, 000, 12 fretters. It would have been nice to have him play the same thing with both of them tuned the same but, oh well. Can't have everything. ;D luthiertube.com/video/451/the-gold-threadsGlen
