I never got around to a post here that Norm and I discussed. He said the small nature of Santa Cruz Guitar Company (12 - 16 employees) made them lutheir builds. I got a Santa Cruz OMS about a year ago. It's short scale variation of their modern OM that's a custom but sometimes found in dealer stock. Richard Hoover told me just shy of 70% of their production has been custom in recent times. There were no guitar purchases on my mind when I got it. I had a long running habit of trying all 000 and OM variations when I could, stopped in a shop and was knocked out by this one guitar. It amazed me with ability to play loud and soft yet be short scale, had some dread-like tone and was more comfy than my others with V style necks. This acoustic and a used 52 style Telecaster I bought earlier have me at just about a year of buying nothing but strings and picks and they initiated selling other guitars. It was out of character for me to buy a new instrument and so fast but I have had no regrets. It's only wood and metal and a material thing but something special or spiritual is going on in current form. If nothing else valuable spirit that has me more interested in making music than adding more stuff to my life.

Sounds like a nice combination you have there. I wish I could find a guitar that would make me want nothing else.
