Anyone here seen a UFO? Of course we've all seen something that's to us and to others "unidentified" --it's almost an unfortunate term. But are you a believer in alien visitation, or think that any of the UFOs are visiting spacecraft?

I am really into science fiction but with UFOs I am a bit skeptical although I love the topic. I did see something once that was strange and that I could not identify. I was throwing out garbage outside in a dumpster at work. It was about 10:30pm. I saw a red light in the sky. It was sort of faint but is wasn't traveling across the sky. From my vantage point it was traveling up and away from Earth. I watched it until I could not see it any longer. It was moving very fast. It may have just been a satellite. Alien invasion moves are my favorite! foleyfunfilmfacts.wordpress.com/?s=Alien+Invasion

I've seen flying objects that I could not identify but I don't believe any of them were spacecraft operated by aliens. I am aware of no evidence that aliens have ever been to earth. Therefore, I do not believe alien beings have ever been here though it would be great if they had.

When I was in junior high (late 70s), I saw a very large craft flying directly overhead at a relatively low speed, meaning it didn't zoom by but kind of cruised overhead and I got a long look at it. I recall it filling up a big part of the sky as it went by.
Of course, I was alone and without a camera, etc. At the time, I estimated that it was about the length of a football field, it had some white lights facing forward, and it was kind of tapered so that the front was large and blocky with the rear being closer to a point. It wasn't aerodynamically shaped. I also remember that the bottom of it was flat and illuminated, as if from below, but I lived in an area that was part suburbs and part undeveloped land, so there was not a lot of ambient light from below.
No idea what it was, and it certainly wasn't some kind of military stealth vehicle unless they accidentally turned on all the lights!
At the time I thought it was probably a UFO, but of course no one believed me. No idea what it was.

I've seen a UFO myself over Houston, Texas. It was a triangular shaped object that darted from one end of the sky to the other almost instantly. It hovered over a drive in movie my brother and I and my uncle, along with probably 40-50 others watched it for about a minute, then it just vanished. Never did hear any explanation for it, and the image stays with me to this day. My brother also claims to have been abuducted and probed at the base of his skull, and he does have a permanent mark there which he says is where the instrument was placed. It looks like two small holes or points about the width of a pencil lead and about an eighth of an inch apart. He's a pretty regular guy and not given to flights of fancy, etc. He was regular Army and was in the first Gulf War as well. I have no reason to doubt his story, but I still do wonder what really happened to him.

...My brother also claims to have been abuducted and probed at the base of his skull ... At least he wasn't anally probed. You may not believe this but I sustained being so probed while at the mercy of a gastroenterologist.

You may not believe this but I sustained being so probed while at the mercy of a gastroenterologist. Wow, I believe that, and a probably similar looking alien once probed me, too. Except he claimed he "cut away" something bad instead of implanting something bad. And had the nerve to tell me to come back in 10 years for another probe.

Personally, I couldn't respect any alien race that didn't observe manners and wait to be invited first. (For visitations AND probings!)

Ok, but if aliens merely take a cue from earth's history of not being invited before probing/invading/raping other peoples, then they might conclude it's fair game!

Good point! ... but I still wouldn't serve them the best biscuits in the house. (I might send them over to herbhunter's place for "cannelloni stuffed with sheep brains and barbecued bull testicles"!)

You won't find that fare at my place. You are actually referring to my experiences while I was abroad as a child. For example, the bull bits and pieces were served at a highly recommended barbecue restaurant when I was overseas with my parents. A hibachi was brought out to the table with an assortment of meats on it.
