Hi,
Anybody here have one?
I find we do a lot of manual up and down of the temps beyond the simple programming our current thermostat has. Sometimes I'll stop home for lunch or leave quick and realize I left the house at 65 or 68 instead of turn back down to 60.
Who knows if it would pay for itself but it might be convenient for a scenario like ours where we keep the house at low temp a lot in winter and high in summer.
Big savings would come from a device that follows 3 kids! Yeah, there's expensive home automation stuff but it was only a few months ago when I finally got to automotive transmission automation.
Thanks for any input.

When I override ours, I am pretty sure it automatically resets itself after a couple hours. You might check your manual to see if yours will do that as well.

The one we have does go back to the programmed settings but lacks all the changes that could be made throughout the day with the Nest model. The features look nice, but to be honest I think more savings would happen with the kids smarter about closing both doors in the mud room and turning things off.
