The second link worked. Maybe when she's a bit older I'll get a better sense of her breed ancestry and even then I'll probably be wrong but as it stands now I can't discern any clues. She is very cute.

She was either abandoned by (or taken from) her mother very early. I think she's only about 4 weeks old.

Cute, but that's way too early to be separated from the mom. Not saying you had any choice in the matter. I think the rule of thumb is 8-9 weeks. Might want to do some research to see what issues might come up and how to help prevent them.

Yeah, it happens often here that puppies are separated too early, either by deliberate or accidental circumstances. I just cannot stand that. Happened to our previous dog the same way. They are adapting well to each other, so it seems like a good fit. The rescue shelter advertises in a regional website, and a friend of my wife's has some connection there.
