Any of you ever take a moment to look at the IP Viking site? It is very interesting to see the protocols attacked, sources, and destinations. map.ipviking.com/#North Korea in the news is interesting on this topic because I've read they only have 2.5 gigabits per sec bandwidth and 4 class C subnets. It wouldn't take a lot of computers with viruses to bring that down. BTW: By WW III I'm not really talking about N. Korea but about cyber warfare, and that we've already had stuxnet and regen. Criminals or nations, attacks and crimes are very different than they were growing up a baby boomer.

I guess if you go with the assumption that humans will find a way to war with each other, maybe cyber wars are a lesser of many worse evils.

Yes, but here there's some pain and irony that my IT tasks are very much filled with defense and the difficult scenario of dealing with people these days. My guess is you know well that average doesn't really mean you're 1/2 way smart, and top management can be their own worst enemy.
