Well, my new guitar arrived on Friday. My first impressions were that, aesthetically, the pictures Jeff sent me don't do it justice at all. This is the most beautiful guitar I've ever held in my hands. But more importantly, it sounds amazing. Actually, "amazing" probably understates what I'm trying to say.
The double-top gives a bit of a volume boost compared to my two Taylors. I tend to be a bit delicate when I fingerpick, so this works well for me. There's a clarity of sound with this guitar that is instantly noticeable. The low notes come through strong and clear; the trebles ring clear and long. The playability is fantastic.
I'll try to get some pictures up here soon. Monday, I'm beginning recording on a new cd. I'll try to get one or two guitar tracks up at some point in the next couple of weeks to give folks here a chance to hear her.

Congrats! At long last, I'm sure. Nothing like welcoming a new "member" to the "herd" (or the "heard"). James: post up some pix when you can, and any sound samples if you can as well.
